Hi:
I am an AARP Volunteer, serving as an Instructor in AARP's Smart Driver Program. This is my sixth year and I have been using Hartford Booklets from day 1. I cannot estimate the extra value these booklets add to my courses. Thank you for making them available for our use.
Hi John - We're so glad you find the guidebooks useful with your AARP volunteer role. Keep up the good work!
I am the state coordinator AARP Driver Safety in the State of Illinois. The Hartford insurance booklets are very important for information to our classes and the students have the option of taking a copy of the various publication that are referenced in our courses. The main copies used and referenced in our classes and the Smart Driver Student Participation Book are "WE NEED TO TALK" and "AT THE CROSSROADS"
I am interested to find out how I can obtain copies of the latest publication "IN THE DRIVERS SEAT".
Could you please get back with me and let me know.
Bill - We're so happy to hear the students of the AARP Driver Safety classes find our safety guides helpful! You can order copies of We Need to Talk and At the Crossroads from The Hartford Center for Mature Market Excellence®. In the Driver's Seat, our guide about vehicle technologies, is available for download only.
Please let me know if you need additional guidance.
Thank you,
Laura
I am currently an AARP instructor in the Villagers of Florida. As a lifelong educator, I am most grateful for the commitment of AARP to our senior citizens. In addition, my recent purchase of a 2017 Toyota Prius Plug-in with safety assist has been proof positive that targeted safety features will allow seniors to extend their driving life span. Finally, I am most interested in the new data on driverless vehicles and the possibilities for using this resource if driving is no longer possible for a variety of reasons.
