Can I Put My Car Insurance On Hold?

Yes, you can certainly put your car insurance on hold, but there are some important considerations when suspending the entire policy.   • I am in CT. Just like putting your car insurance on hold, I am having issues registering my insured used car. Its been over 30days that I put insurance on the car and it has not moved. Is there any discount I am entitled too due to the fact that the car is insured and unable to register (due to messed up paperwork) hence unable to drive.

  • I have a car that sits in the garage most of the time .. maybe 3 months at a time . I just take it for maybe for a 30 mile run and then I park it again . Do I need to add the full coverage on it if I take it out everytime ?

  • I use this service every year, you just need to make sure that the Representative you speak to understands the vehicle is suspended and not canceled, miss understanding does happen. It also helps to make sure they send you a conformation on line or in the mail. If nor do a follow up.
