How old of a home will Hartford insure? Despite all the improvements we’ve made, I believe that Hartford will not insure homes built before 1915. Is this accurate?

I have tried bundling my home and auto by Hartford but was told the roof on my home was too old to pass. Several times I have been tempted to try other Insurance to see if they would do a policy on me.
My car and I have gotten older, also. My auto has very few miles on it for its age. I can’t say the same for myself! However, it and I go out very little, the mileage on my my car is much less then 1,500 miles a year and still I am required to pay the higher, ever climbing yearly increase.
So, saving money through Hartford has not run true for me in any way that I can see. My deductible is too high to have minor things fixed, or things that are under $1,000, so higher friends or relatives to handle those things. That goes for my car & home. JVP
