Good teaser! With a outline of the US map in my mind, I can name all the states From there, it was easy to recall the capital. I was in elementary school when I took an interest in US geography, although we never formally learned all of them as part of our elementary cirriculum. If only the generations after ours would take an interest!
I am 77 years of age and am so proud I was able to do all capitals and the decoding math. I just stumbled across these puzzles and hope to see more. It is a shame that most kids I know do not know states and capitals.
Frankfort, Kentucky is also a correct answer for #3.
The answers came up before I had a chance to see if I had any smarts left (I’m 85)
I have been to #2, none of the others.
I get my insurance from #3, and I’d really like to visit #6.
Fun brain teaser, especially on our Independence Day!
I love brain teasers. Seek and find are great too.
Grew up playing these type games. Keeps your mind active.
Love brain teasers! Exercise your brain but at the same time I find time spent doing puzzles and playing educational such as Scrabble is time well spent for de-stressing as well as entertainment.

I am 74 yrs young, & I aced these! When I grew up in the fifties before tv, we played learning games in the evenings with our parents & siblings. One in particular was to match the capitals with their respective states. It was fun, & to this day I still remember more of them than I have forgotten. Quality time, so sad, is a thing of the past now with tv, cell phones etc. Both parents working, sports…aah, the good old days!🙄
Love the Brain Teasers. My husband and I enjoy making our minds think about other things rather than the run of the mill daily items.

It would have been nice if you had told us how to play the game…..

Too easy!
Very entertaining puzzle. I was a OTR Dispatcher for 25 + years, so it was fun to see how much I had still retained in memory. To my surprise and delight I got all of them right.
Thanks for the memories,
Tim Duenow
I was pleased to be able to identify these without too much difficulty.
The idea of a brain teaser is a good one to help those of us “Seniors” who make up a significant portion of the clientele of The Hartford customer base. Kicking off with US capitals was also a good idea as knowledge of the geography of this country is something most people take for granted but surprisingly deficient in.
I would have liked to take the brain teaser game but when I tried to play I got this page that had the answers on it. How does that challenge me?
The answers came up before I had a chance to figure it out.
Why did you give the response?
That was easy!
I get the idea but how do we get the answers? There is no explanation of how to play the game or what the correct answer is…???
Hi Nancy,
